Watanga FC suffered their third defeat of the season in a 1-0 home loss to LPRC Oilers in match day 3 of the 2024-25 Liberian League Season.
The reigning Champions have now gone three games without a win in the League, losing all games in the process without scoring a single goal.
Before this game, Watanga FC had suffered defeats to Discoveries SA and LISCR FC, respectively.
Watanga FC is having a difficult start to the seasons which many footballs followers claims is fatigue the reason.
The reigning champions had a great pre-season before their CAF Champions League qualifiers campaign with the Algerian champions, MC Alger which ended in a 4-0 aggregate in both legs of the qualifier in Algeria.
Though it’s not clear to know the actual cause of the team poor form, but coach Cooper Sannah hoping to make a comeback in order to put smiles on the faces of the club fans in upcoming league fixtures.
