The House of Representatives of the Republic of Liberia is pleased to acknowledge a message of congratulations extended to the Honorable Speaker, Cllr. Richard Nagbe Koon, by His Excellency Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peopleโs Congress of the Peopleโs Republic of China.
The congratulatory letter was formally transmitted to the House by the Embassy of the Peopleโs Republic of China in Liberia, which also conveyed its highest regards and continued commitment to the deepening of bilateral parliamentary relations between the two nations.
In the message, Chairman Zhao Leji extended his heartfelt congratulations to Speaker Koon on his recent election, expressing confidence in his leadership and pledging to strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the National Peopleโs Congress of China and the House of Representatives of Liberia.
The Embassy of China, in its accompanying note, further expressed its honor in delivering the message and took the opportunity to reaffirm its high consideration and diplomatic goodwill toward the Liberian Legislature.
This gesture marks another milestone in the growing inter-parliamentary diplomacy between Liberia and China and reinforces the mutual interest both nations share in promoting peace, development, and representative governance.
